A Word From Our Pastor
I would like to introduce Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church to you:
Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church is a body of baptized believers. We are a big business in
the City of Ocean Springs, MS. Our primary purpose is to seek those that are lost and compel
them to come to Christ while He may be found. Macedonia is the church that sits in the heart of
Ocean Springs. It is the lighthouse in the community, pointing people toward our Lord and
Savior Jesus Christ. We promote the gospel and prepare its members to proclaim the gospel of
Jesus Christ. Macedonia sits on the corner of Dr. Martin Luther King Drive and Dr. Jesse L.
Trotter Street.
One may ask, what goes on at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, since it’s such a big
business? The following will give you a brief synopsis:
We teach biblical doctrine so we can be grounded in our faith and are no longer infants tossed
back and forth by the waves, blown here and there by every wind of false doctrine, and by the
cunning and craftiness of men in their deceitful scheming. Macedonia is a church where we
provide a place of fellowship. Christians can be devoted to one another and honor one another,
instruct one another, be kind and compassionate to one another and most importantly, love one
another. We promote prayer and believe in prayer. We equip believers in Christ with the tools
they need to overcome sin and remain free from the pollution of the world. This is done by
biblical teaching and preaching the Word of God through Christian fellowship.
We invite everyone to come and fellowship with us each Sunday morning at 10:30am for
worship service, and on Wednesday nights at 6:00pm for midweek prayer service and bible
study. We are confident you will find our services informative and inspirational.
